Repair of Five Sports Facilities in West Jakarta Completed

The West Jakarta Youth and Sports Agency has completed repairs to five sports facilities in 2023. The repairs were comoleted following up on suggestions or aspirations from the community.

It is done to follow up on residents' request

West Jakarta Youth and Sports Sub-agency Head, Pujihariyanto said the repairs to the five sports facilities were on land owned by the Jakarta Provincial Government and spread across four sub-districts.

"The sports facilities that we are repairing are located on land owned by the Jakarta Government," he expressed, Thursday (12/14).

He detailed the sports facilities being repaired were a basketball court in Joglo Urban Village, Kembangan Sub-district.

Then the futsal field and volleyball court in Tanjung Duren Utara Urban Village, Grogol Petamburan Sub-district.

There was also one badminton court in Pegadungan Urban Village, Kalideres Sub-district, and one badminton court in Kemanggisan Urban Village, Palmerah Sub-district.

"It is done to follow up on residents' request," he said.

According to him, the repairs included repairing futsal goals, replacing badminton and volleyball nets, repairing basket rings and nets, repairing court safety nets, and so on.

"Repairs had been completed in the end of last November. Hopefully, residents will be more enthusiastic about exercising and therefore become healthier and fitter," he stated.
